Private Individual or Couple Tuition:

If attending a weekend workshop does not suit you for whatever reason, or if you would like individual attention, intensive Reiki training at Level I, Level II and Advanced Level is also available on a one-to-one basis (week days only).  Unless otherwise stated, the workshop content is covered in one day rather than two (10.00 am-7.00 pm with a break of an hour and a half for lunch).  If more convenient, training can be spread over two half days (9.30 am-1.00 pm or 2.00-5.30 pm) or three separate evenings (two hours per evening) instead. These half day or evening training sessions need not be consecutive, as you can practice what you have learnt between sessions.  

Private tuition provides much greater flexibility for either one or two people, both in terms of time and in terms of what material is covered, should you have particular wishes or requirements in this respect.

Costs are are follows:

Reiki Level 1 - £250  (or £350 for two people coming together - £175 per person)
Reiki Level 2 - £300  (or £420 for two people coming together - £210 per person)
Advanced Level (Master Level Part I) - £340  (or £480 for two people coming together - £240 per person)
Reiki Refresher/Booster - half day/4 hours - £140  (or £200 for two people coming together - £100 per person)
Reiki Tutorial - 2 hours - £70  (or £100 for two people coming together - £50 per person)  

 

Master Level (Master Level Part II) - £500 - done on a one-to-one basis only and over a different time scale to the above. 

 

Private Reiki Refresher/Booster - this is an intensive half day (4 hours) weekday workshop for anyone who has already done Reiki Level I or Level II and would like to revise one or both levels but is not available for the Saturday workshop (cost as stated for Private Individual Tuition above), or would like a more individually-tailored programme suited to their particular needs.  See Reiki Refresher Day.

 

Private Reiki Tutorial - this is a two-hour tutorial session for anyone who has already done Reiki Level I or Reiki Level II and would like some specific individual support in preparation for moving on to the next level (cost as stated for Private Individual Tuition above).  See Reiki Tutorial.

 

Reiki Master Level Training, Part II - preparation for becoming a Reiki teacher takes place over a number of months with phone, email and face-to-face contact.

 

Private Group Tuition:

 I also offer weekday Reiki workshops for businesses or private groups (not less than 4 people) as and when required, and if places are available, people can sometimes join the weekday group workshops I have run regularly for the Scottish Nursing Guild over the past couple of years.  Times, costs and venue are the same as for weekend workshops, unless the group size is larger than 8 participants, in which case arrangements can be made by separate negotiation.

 

Reiki Tutorial or Half Day Booster Session:

The Reiki Tutorial is a private two-hour session for anyone who has already done Reiki Level I or Level II and would like some help with a particular aspect of their Reiki practice, or the opportunity to fill in any perceived gaps in their knowledge or understanding, before moving on to the next level.  It is primarily designed to provide a deeper understanding of energy work at a particular level of Reiki training in order to boost confidence and get better results, rather than to revise work the Reiki student may have already covered elsewhere, although I am happy to offer this, if that is what is needed and time allows.

For more in-depth revision and learning geared to your own particular needs, I am also happy to offer a longer, four-hour booster session if required, as an alternative to my Reiki Refresher Day workshop, if you have a number of specific aspects of energy work you would like to ask about or work on.    

Students planning to do Reiki Level III often find a Reiki III tutorial session a particularly useful way to prepare for the workshop if they feel that their previous training has not been as thorough and in-depth as they would have liked.  I may also suggest it as an option if I do not think they have the same degree of knowledge and understanding as students have who have already studied Levels I or II with me.

Tutorial or booster sessions can be booked at any time, depending on my availability.  Please feel free to call me to discuss your specific requirements if you would like help in deciding which is the best option for you.

Please note that if you send me an email and do not hear back from me promptly, it will either be because your email did not reach me or possibly because my reply has gone straight into your junk mail box (this seems to be an increasing problem these days as the use of email filters becomes more widespread), so please check or call me. A way of making sure that my reply goes into your inbox and not into your spam or junk mail folder would be to add porteous@effectiveresults.co.uk to your address book and/or safe-list.

If you include a contact telephone number in your email, then it will be possible for me to call you back if necessary, instead of relying on email.

Wherever possible, I like to give prospective students the opportunity of a face-to-face chat before enrolling so that they can ask me questions, get a feel for the training venue and also get to know a bit more about me and my work before the workshop.  If you would find this helpful, please feel free to arrange a time to come and meet me.

As group sizes are purposely kept small (maximum 8 participants), please note that payment in full is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable and non-transferable from that point onwards.  In the event of the workshop not taking place, all fees paid will, of course, be refunded in full.
